Terms and Conditions Policy
1. Introduction
Welcome to the official website of National Crime Prevention Service (NCPS). By accessing or using our website, services or products, you agree to be legally bound by the terms and conditions set out below. If you do not accept these terms, you must not use our website or engage our services.
2. Legal Entity and Structure
National Crime Prevention Service (NCPS), registered in the Commercial Register of the Republic of Bulgaria under (NCPS Ltd) Bulstat / UIC: 208390351, we are committed to operating with the highest standards of legal and ethical conduct.
Throughout this document, “NCPS,” “we,” “our,” or “the Company” refer to National Crime Prevention Service Ltd.
3. Scope of Services
NCPS Ltd offers specialised private security services, including but not limited to:
- Crime prevention and visibility patrols
- Rapid incident response
- Surveillance and monitoring
- Strategic and operational security consultancy
All services are delivered by independent, self-employed security officers engaged under contract with NCPS Ltd. These services are provided in accordance with applicable Bulgarian and EU laws and the local legal frameworks of the countries where services may be rendered.
4. Status of Security Officers
All operational personnel engaged by NCPS Ltd are self-employed professionals with substantial backgrounds in sectors such as:
- Police and law enforcement
- Military and defence services
- Firearms instruction
- Private military contracting (PMCs)
- Executive protection and private security
These officers operate independently and are contracted by NCPS Ltd to provide services as per client requirements. They are not employees of NCPS Ltd and their engagement is governed by freelance contracts under Bulgarian commercial law.
5. Client Obligations
Clients engaging NCPS Ltd services agree to:
- Provide accurate, timely, and complete information regarding their security requirements
- Facilitate reasonable cooperation with officers during service provision
- Immediately report any issues, incidents, or complaints to NCPS Ltd or its designated UK representative
- Comply with all applicable laws and local requirements relating to the services
Failure to comply may result in immediate termination of services and potential legal consequences.
6. Service Delivery and Limitations
NCPS Ltd commits to delivering services with professionalism, diligence and in compliance with relevant laws. However, the Client acknowledges that:
- Security services cannot guarantee the prevention of all criminal acts or incidents
- NCPS Ltd assumes no responsibility for events beyond its operational control or outside the scope defined in the client agreement
- Officers must act within legal and contractual boundaries and services are provided “as-is” without warranty of outcome
7. Data Protection
NCPS Ltd processes personal data in accordance with:
- General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) (EU) 2016/679
- Bulgarian Personal Data Protection Act (ZZLD)
- Any other applicable jurisdictional regulations where services are provided
We are committed to maintaining the confidentiality, integrity and lawful processing of personal data. For more details, please refer to our separate Data Protection Policy.
8. Limitation of Liability
NCPS Ltd shall not be liable for:
- Any indirect, incidental or consequential losses, including but not limited to financial losses, reputational harm or lost opportunities
- Damages arising from unforeseeable events, force majeure, third party actions or the Client’s failure to comply with its obligations
- Any claims related to the autonomous actions or omissions of self employed officers, unless resulting from NCPS Ltd’s own gross negligence or wilful misconduct
To the extent permitted by law, NCPS Ltd’s liability shall be limited to the amount paid by the Client for the specific service giving rise to the claim.
9. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of Bulgaria. In the event of a dispute, the parties agree to:
- First attempt to resolve the issue amicably through negotiation
- If unsuccessful, submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Sofia, Bulgaria whose rulings shall be final and binding
10. Amendments to These Terms
NCPS Ltd reserves the right to amend, modify, or update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Updates will be published on our website and will take effect immediately upon publication. Continued use of NCPS Ltd’s services constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
